Why five star homes?

Five Star Homes is a locally owned and operated business that has been serving Edmonton and area for over 15 years. As a framer that started in the construction industry, Amit Sharma would go on to build a humble home building company and a family with three growing children.

The Five Star brand has evolved over the years but one thing remains constant and that is we are incredibly grateful for the support of our customers, trades and vendors. We have recently received the AVID CUP award for highest customer ratings in North America.

NATIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE WINNER

We have received the AVID award for highest ratings in customer service for the past four years. This year we received the highest rating in North America with the DIAMOND CUP.  This is a third party survey that connects with new home buyers in the province. We are proud of this legacy and I hope that our customers past, present and future will know that we will always be committed to excellence. Through the review process with multiple builders before deciding to go with Five Star Homes. This turned out to be a great decision. Five Star offered a wide selection of floor plans to start planning with. They walked us through building a custom plan that worked for our family’s needs. They helped us visualize what the final product would look like by showing us similar details in the showhome, current builds or had a resource of photos and videos from completed projects. Once into construction, Bhanu was our project manager and did a super job of keeping our family aware of timelines and keeping us involved in what was happening at the house and which steps were next. Our expectations were exceeded through the whole process including design, construction, possession and even after moving in. Overall the decision to purchase from Five Star has been an excellent experience! We love the fact that we can discuss some of the cool features that we worked through during the planning process with guests that visit our house. We always get great compliments from visitors to our house and even have had a coworker so impressed that they also purchased from Five Star!

Like any diligent buyer, we shopped around and compared different builders to see who could best accommodate our style and investment range. Right after our meeting with Five Star we were sold and stopped the hunt for our new home, as we knew we had found our perfect match.

Admittedly, we are aware from past home purchases that not every step during the process goes smoothly, however we did not have one hiccup along the way as each step during the build was seamless. The team guided us through our custom build the entire way from foundation to shingles and everything went great, plus everyone was so nice and accommodating to meet our needs. We never felt rushed or pressed to make a decision and they even put up with me changing my mind a few times!

We purchased an estates spec home from Five Star Homes this spring. Overall, the process was quite smooth and all of their representatives we dealt with were professional and very responsive. Even if it was a spec home, they used premium upgrades throughout the house including basement. All of the fixtures and finishes were comparable to their showhome. We hired a third party inspector prior to releasing all the conditions and he was impressed with the quality of work and it exceeds the city code requirement. We had minor issues post move that were promptly dealt with and all of their trades responded within 24 hours. Bhanu, the project manager, has been great to deal with and we appreciate his prompt communication. I would definitely recommend Five Star Homes to our friends and family.

My husband and I bought a lot from Five Star Homes in 2018 and moved into the new build at the end of 2019, after choosing to wait until Spring of 2019 before digging.  We had heard such great things about living in Summerside and the lake dock access (when you live on the shared pathway) was a real selling feature for us. From the beginning, the process with Five Star Homes was great. Communication was abundant, which was really important to us for our custom build. The team was extremely welcoming and kind and we loved working with Bhanu and Jublee.  We were impressed with how fast everything happened, without any cut corners. Everything they had promised, they delivered and even after moving in, they have been available for any maintenance need be. As mentioned above, Bhanu was a great contact and person to work alongside this venture and Jublee welcomed every design idea I had and made sure to include us on every decision made, which was important.I highly recommend Five Star Homes
